Is it easy to change a car bulb?

It is perfectly feasible to change a car bulb by yourself – on some models they are easy to access and to remove and replace with a new bulb. You should find information in your vehicle handbook on how to change the bulb and also, which bulb to use.

However, depending on where the bulb is located, it can be really fiddly to access. Sometimes the bulbs are behind the screen wash container, or the battery or behind the housing for the air filter which makes it all a bit of a hassle. It’s also important not to touch the glass of the bulb as any deposits of dust or dirt from your hands can cause the bulb to fail.
